Location. The Sheraton Yankee Clipper Beach hotel is located on an 11 mile stretch of beach in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. This property stands adjacent to the Bahia Mar Yacht Center and is positioned one half mile from Beach Place's shops, restaurants and nightlife. Hotel Features. On site dining options include the Clipper Steakhouse that features breakfast buffets, and lunch and dinner sandwiches, pastas, steaks and seafood. Munchies Deli is open 24 hours a day, and the Sandbar and Grill serves seaside sandwiches and tropical drinks. Function rooms accommodate up to 350 people, and wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel for a fee. Recreational amenities include two outdoor pools, a complimentary fitness center, and a basketball and bocce ball court.
Guestrooms. This property offers 500 nautically themed guestrooms housed within four buildings that range from five to 11 stories. All accommodations feature The Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed with pillow top mattresses, plump duvets and five goose down/feather pillows. Bathrooms contain curved shower rods, shower/tub combinations and bathrobes. Rooms are equipped with high speed wired and wireless Internet access, and cable television. Room amenities include laptop compatible, in room safes and coffeemakers. Refrigerators are available upon request.
Expert Tip. Originally made famous in the 1960s movie Where the Boys Are, the Wreck Bar is designed as an underwater shipwreck. More recently, this site was chosen as a movie location for Analyze This with Robert DeNiro. Live music performs at the bar on select evenings, and an underwater window looks onto the pool.

Take Highway 1 N/Federal Highway to SE 17th Street. Turn right onto 17th Street and continue across the bridge. 17th Street becomes A1A. The hotel is located one half mile ahead on the right.
From Miami International Airport: Approximate distance to the hotel is 30.5 miles.
Take SR 112/Airport Expressway (toll) to I 95 N. Continue on I 95 into Broward County and take Sunrise Boulevard E. Turn right onto A1A. The hotel is located three miles ahead on the left.
